  Post office doesn't seem to care the carriers don't read messages and they carriers also leave mailboxes wide open

  Absolutely awful! Do not use first class packaging!! I worked from home all day yesterday because my package was supposed to be delivered and needed a signature to receive it. My computer is right next to the front door btw. I also put a sign on the door that stated to ring the doorbell and that I was home. However, at 3:20PM I get an email stating they left a slip saying that they "tried" to deliver the package and I was not home. I go outside and there is no slip or anything!! So I go down to the post office and asked for the pacakge, and they said it was still on the truck. So of course I ask for a re-delivery on Satruday. Us Post office complies and I go about my day. This morning I called to confirm the re-delivery, they said it would be mailed today around the normal time. So since ringing the doorbell proved to difficult last time, I stayed home all day and sat outside from 2pm - 4pm. Low and behold, still no delivery!! What a surprise!! Go to check the website and it has not even been updated from yesterday as they stated they would for the re-delivery. The US Postal Office does not care about its customers. Drivers are dishonest and do not do a good job even covering up their lies. The management their is also dishonest and will say anything to get you out of their hair, but won't actually do anything they say they will do, like something as simple as mark a package for re-delivery. I received no slip, no knock on the door or anything! They just never came here! I encourage everyone and anyone who needs a package delivered on time with a guarantee of getting to the appropriate recipient without any hassle or incompetence, please use FEDEX or UPS. I will never be doing business with US Postal Office again if I can at all help it. I will even pay extra to not use them. I can't stand being lied to and having my time wasted like this and I am sure no one else can either. Everything I have stated above is all fact and I stand by my one of several terrible experiences I have had with this Post Office specifically.

  Thankful for how nice this man was wish I would have got his name . He explained how to mail priority mail and what boxes I was allowed too use verses priority flat rate mail .
